Thunder On The Liquid ¼ Mile Crash and Burn Series
There are 9 volumes in this series packed with plenty of action. The majority of all crashes are taped in standard speed and in slow motion. All of these videos are 28 to 40 minutes long. Each video is specially priced at $19.95 each.
Volume # 1
This is a great tape, especially for someone new to the sport of drag boat racing. There are three types of boats that drag race on the liquid 1/4-mile, Hydroplanes, Flat bottoms, and Jets. This tape will give you an in depth look at the differences between these plastics fantastics not to mention some good crash footage.
Volume # 2
The racing action in this video comes from California, Texas, Saint Louis, and Reno Nevada where a top fuel hydro's throttle sticks wide open as he races towards land, just before the boat hits the bank at 160 mph the driver jumps out. The boat hits the bank and launches like a rocket ship into the air and disintegrates into nothing. That’s for starters.
Volume # 3
Highlights from this tape are from California, Arizona, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Dayton Ohio, and Monroe Louisiana. Included is the crash of the world famous Eddie (The Thrill) Hill when his boat disintegrates well over 200 mph. In Oklahoma a drag boat runs over a patrol boat. Than at Irvine Lake, California a Blown Alcohol Flat throws the driver out and then runs over him.
Volume # 4
This volume is jam packed with fire scenes and engines exploding. A fuel jet blows an engine completely in half. A driver’s parachute opens up and the driver is sucked right out of the boat. The famous Bill Todd in Billy The Kid and the Hillbilly blow their engines and set their boats on fire. This was also the 1st year that drag boats started using roll cages.
Volume # 5
This one is for the ladies, A 120-mph jet boat driven by a 60-year-old GRANDMOTHER crashes in the lights. The boat flies into the air and does a complete flip throwing the driver out. She walks away. a Blown Fuel Jet called GRANPAWS TOY crashes at ¾ track at Castaic lake in California and the 1st Top Fuel Hydro with a roll cage crashes.
Volume # 6
Outboard lovers, this drag boat catches on fire and rescue cannot put the fire out and the boat burns down to nothing. A jet boat loses control and runs up on the beach right in front of our camera man and runs over the timing lights. Two blown gas hydros run out of water and put them right up on the beach. This is just a small part of the action.
Volume # 7
This is one for the books, A Pro Gas Hydro called “THE LAST RIDE” runs through the ¼ mile and his throttle sticks wide open on him and he slams right into the Sheriff’s patrol boathouse and sinks one of the Sheriff’s boats. His new boat is called “The Barnstormer”. “Top Gun” a Blown Alcohol Hydro lands on the beach.
Volume # 8
“MADNESS” This video follows 6-time world champion Ron Braaksma in his Top Fuel Hydro called Madness. Ron set numerous records and was one of the 1st drivers to install a roll cage in his boat. He was also the 1st driver to crash with a roll cage. He was also one of the 1st to install the fully enclosed capsules. Although Ron is still racing today, this is a good collectible with some interviews from his earlier days. Some footage had never been seen before.
Volume # 9
This tape is called “CRASH”. This is a combination video with Drag Boats, Motocross Motorcycle Racing and Mini World of Outlaw Kart Racing. In some of the motorcycle and kart racing some of the drivers are as young as 7 years old. It is a great DVD for the little ones, and you can keep them entertained for 30 minutes time and time again. They will really enjoy watching this DVD.
Volume #10
The best of the famous “Eddie Hill”, The Texan, Top Fuel Hydro driver. If you are an Eddie Hill fan, you will thoroughly enjoy this special time of racing in Eddie's career. This DVD includes interviews with Eddie and his famous crash at Firebird Raceway in Arizona.

Billy the Kid (Bill Todd-Driver)
Many "Bill Todd" fans remember him as one of the greatest drivers of the Top Fuel Hydro class. Bill was a terrific man and person who cared so much about what he was doing in the sport of drag boat racing. He strived to entertain you the fan, with his expert driving capabilities. You will definitely love this DVD which highlights his career of racing at various drag boat courses. And, you will also love the interviews we videotaped with this amazing man.
